Nayra Martin-Key

Senior Research Associate

NayraI completed my PhD in Psychology at the University of Southampton, where I focused on using eye-tracking methods to investigate the mechanisms underlying the emotion recognition and empathy deficits exhibited by adolescents with Conduct Disorder. Following the completion of my PhD, I worked in industry as a Clinical Research Manager for Qbtech, a medical device company focusing on the objective management of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
I am currently working as a Senior Research Associate in the Bahn Lab, where my main responsibilities regard developing and using digital technologies to screen, diagnose, and triage mental health concerns, particularly in regards to women's health. I am also interested in drivers to intention to use digital technologies, such as mobile apps, for mental health symptoms throughout the menstrual cycle, the perinatal period, and the menopause. In addition, I am interested in patient and public involvement research and in using co-designing approaches to facilitate the development of technology.

Jakub Tomasik

Senior Research Associate

Jakub TomasikMy research focuses on improving current diagnostic and treatment approaches to major neuropsychiatric conditions such as bipolar disorder, major depression and schizophrenia using biomarker and digital data. My background is in biomarker discovery and statistical modelling from my PhD studies in Neuroscience under the supervision of Prof. Bahn at Cambridge University and the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam, my MSc studies in Biotechnology at Jagiellonian University in Krakow and my internship at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich.
